What is Batik?

  Batik is an ancient anti-dyeing process, known as "wax" in ancient times. It is named after the use of beeswax as an anti-stain, which has a history of more than 2,000 years. The patterns of batik products are full and rich in layers. The patterns of batik are mostly flowers, trees, and geometric figures, with a moderate amount of insects, fish, birds and animals.

  In addition to the exquisite pattern, the wax cracks on the fabric after cooling, and the color material penetrates into the cracks, resulting in a variety of color patterns, commonly known as "ice patterns". The same pattern design can get different "ice patterns" after being made into batik. Therefore, "ice pattern" is also a unique feature of batik handicraft, and "ice pattern" is known as the "soul" of batik
