Sunshine Industrial Printing and Dyeing Factory invested by China Weifang Huateng Group held an opening ceremony in Uganda. Ugandan President Museveni attended the event and delivered a speech. Zheng Zhuqiang, Chinese Ambassador to Uganda, Sun Lianzhong, Chairman of Sunshine Printing and Dyeing, and Frederick, Minister of State of Uganda's Ministry of Trade and Industry attended the event. about 200 people including representatives of Chinese-funded enterprises in Ukraine, representatives of Jinja Municipal Government and employees of Sunshine Industrial Printing and Dyeing Factory attended the event.
At the opening ceremony, President Museveni said that China and Africa have large populations and have an important impact on world economic growth. Uganda thanked Chinese investors for investing in Uganda to build factories and improve the employment level in Uganda. It is hoped that Uganda employees of Sunshine Industrial Printing and Dyeing Factory will set a good example through their own hard work and attract more Chinese investors to invest in Uganda. Mu also said that China has always been with Africa, no matter when it was fighting for national liberation in Africa or now when it was pursuing development. With a large population and advanced technology, China-Africa cooperation is of strategic significance to achieve common development.
